I sat waiting for the UPS truck to pull up in front of my house all day and drop off my new toy. I had been tracking it on their website for a week to make sure it would arrive as scheduled. Ever since I got the email that I was receiving a Vado Pocket Video Cam from MomTV I was thrilled!!
I am happy to tell you…it arrived shortly before 6PM today!
It’s sooooo pretty in pink!!!
Here are some pictures
And here is the first video footage I took—it’s of Zman @ his baseball game when he was up to bat and got a hit!
Enjoy!
I was amazed with the picture quality and how great the sound records! Check out Creative’s website for more details on this camera and be sure to be on the look out for A LOT of videos in the future!
Thank you MomTV…..YOU. ARE. THE. BEST!
Yesterday I did something that I have wanted to do for a very….very long time!
I went and saw Aerosmith in concert!
Where do I begin?
On Friday, I received a phone call from a friend of mine. We were just sitting and chatting and she came at me with…
“Oh, I won 2 tickets to see Aerosmith a few weeks ago on the radio.”
I replied,”That’s is awesome!”
Then she uttered the greatest words I have heard in a long time……”Do you want them…..for free?”
I was speechless.
I couldn’t wrap my head around this.
Did she seriously just offer me 2 FREE tickets to see the ALMIGHTY AEROSMITH????
I was ready to cry, scream and pass out!
I graciously accepted the offer.
I asked her,”Do you understand just how much I love Aerosmith?”
She said,”I knew you were a fan but didn’t know you were a huge one.”
“I am more than a huge fan! I have wanted to see them live since I was a kid. Since my sister went to a show and came home with a wall size Aerosmith poster! Since I first heard Steven Tyler scream the words….Dream On. And of course…..since the first time I heard Joe Perry jam on his guitar! I more than like Aerosmith!!”

So I found a friend who was more than willing to accompany me to the show. We drove the 3 hours to East Troy WI and then…..I fell in love again. This time with the greatest venue I will ever know. The great Alpine Valley Music Theatre! It was amazing! I was in awe! There had to be at least 12,000 people in attendance.
The show was AMAZING!
The mullets were out in full force! (This particular one was jamming to Girl’s Just Wanna Have Fun on his iPhone!)

There were old men rocking the pony tails and half shirts…along with the cut off denim shorts. There were women in ripped up jeans and bikini tops. There were men in ripped up jeans and no tops. It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time!
Now, there is a downside…..I didn’t bring a camera and only had my friends cell phone. Wish I would have had my camera so I could share some really great fashion don’ts. The only other complaint I had is that they did not sing Rag Doll…..which is my favorite song!
The only halfway decent picture I was able to capture was this one
of the Aerosmith flag that was on display before they performed.
The show ended right before 11, we found the car about 20 minutes later and then sat for an hour waiting to get out.
I was never so happy to lay down in my bed as I was after finally returning home at 3:30am!
All in all it was an excellent show!
Since they didn’t play Rag Doll for me last night I thought I’d share it with you here!
