As of 6am Thursday, August 13th, the Hardworking Hubby is on vacation.  He will be mine….all mine….(ok, I will share him with the kids to, but in very small doses) until he reports back to work at 9:30pm on Tuesday August 18th!  That’s right folks…..I get to sleep next to my husband 5 NIGHTS IN A ROW!!!!! (If you are new to these parts, this is a VERY rare occasion since he works Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am on 3rd Shift).  So his vacation is officially the start of MY vacation! (Technically, my vacation has started…..my homework is ALL DONE!!!!)

We do have a busy 5 days planned.  Thursday evening, we will be participating in the Family Fun-Ath-Alon with our local Park & Rec Department celebrating the end of our Summer park program.  Friday there will be some shopping and running of errands (ooohhhhh how exciting) and then a wedding rehearsal in the evening.  On Saturday, my Hardworking Hubby will don a tux to stand up in his FAVORITE aunts wedding.  Then, bright and early Sunday morning, we are packing the whole fam dam in the minivan and heading to Milwaukee to take in a Brewer game while eating peanuts, popcorn and hotdogs. After that it’s off to the hotel, unload and enjoy a nice dinner out with the hubby and kids and call it a night.  We have plans to rise bright and early Monday morning and head to the Milwaukee Zoo, lunch and then Bradford Beach all before returning back to the comfort of our home in Green Bay.
