It’s black, has lots of buttons and all kinds of different accesories that snap on in different places and do different things.

So, now that I have this amazing new camera, I will have all kinds of new awesome photos to share with you and the rest of the Internet.

I’m off to play with my new toy some more!
Most people hate Mondays.
I hate Sundays.
Sunday evenings in particular.
Especially at say…..9:30pm.
Why you ask?
Because that is when my weekend comes to an end.
That is when my Hardworking Hubby has to leave home and begin his work week.
Weekends in our house do not last long enough.
On Fridays, the Hardworking Hubby fights to stay awake most of the day so we can spend time together, hang out with the little dude while the older kids are at school and then spend time together as a family in the evening.
Then there are the weekends when there is an opportunity for him to work overtime.
And well, he wouldn’t really be the Hardworking Hubby if he didn’t take it.
Overtime means he’s in bed by 8pm on Friday and out the door at 5:30am on Saturday returning shortly after 2pm exhausted as all hell and not wanting to do much.
Which again means we are usually in bed fairly early.
And then Sunday morning rolls around, there is homework to be done, things to be cleaned and other odds and ends to attend to and before we know it, it is time for him to leave for work.
I guess what I’m really trying to say is….is it August yet?
Me.
Hubby.
No kids.
New York City.
Hotel Room.
Alone.
Together.
Hurry August…..PLEASE!!!
1. I forgot to send my daughters field trip permission slip with her to school last Friday and she came home in tears because someone told her that since I forgot to send it in she would not be touring Lambeau Field this Friday.
2. I’m such a night owl that I leave my husband in charge of the getting the kids up, ready and off to school in the morning meaning they probably have on clothes that are too small, mismatched or they’ve been wearing the same pair of pants or shirt all week long.
3. I’m awful at keeping up on the laundry which unfortunately for my kids means they don’t get any clean clothes until they run out of clothes and in most cases, they do the laundry themselves.
4. I would rather order pizza or pick up takeout than take the time to cook dinner.
5. I’ve forgotten to add money to their lunch account and they have had to eat the free PB&J school lunch.
6. I don’t pack lunches for field trips, I take the easy route and buy a Lunchable.
The list goes on and on and on, but this is all that comes to mind at the moment.
